The SR700 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1993. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The SR700 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a black flat headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez Standard pickups with a P-style at the neck and a J-style in the bridge position, an Accu-cast fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Controls consist of a single volume, balancer, and tone.

The SR800 is a related model with active pickups and a variable midrange controls.

This version of the SR700 was produced for only one year.
