The SR7005MW is a limited edition five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR7005MW features a double-cutaway mahogany and walnut body bolted to a SR5 wenge an bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone oval position markers a "Custom Made"" inlay at 24 fret and a black headstock. Components include a Mono-rail bridge with D-tuner on the bass ("E") string and 16.5mm string spacing, a pair of Bartolini soapbar humbucking pickups channeled through a Bartolini 3-band EQ with a mid-frequency toggle, a plastic nut, gold hardware and deluxe Gotoh 510 tuning machines.
