The SR646 is a six-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR646 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of IBZ DX6-N/B (active) pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, a Die-cast 6 strings fixed bridge with 10.8mm string spacing, an active 2-Band EQ, Die-cast machine heads and black hardware.
