The SR645 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2000. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR645 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a SR5 maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white side dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a die-cast 5-string bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a pair of Ibanez DX-5 pickups channeled through an active 2-band EQ, a plastic nut, black hardware and die-cast tuning machines.
The SR645L is a related left-handed model. The SR640 and SR646 are similar four and six string models.
