The SR605 is an Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2010. It is made in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The SR605 features a double-cutaway light Ash body bolted to a jatoba and bubinga SR5 neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a black headstock. Components include a Bartolini® MK1-5-R passive soapbar pickup on the bridge position and a Bartolini® MK1-5-F passive soapbar pickup on the neck position, a Accu-Cast B25 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a black plastic nut, die-cast machine heads and black matte hardware. Controls consist of a master volume, pickup balancer, and an active 3-band EQ with mid-frequency toggle
For 2010, the electronics were changed to the EQB-IIIs EQ with a mid-frequency toggle. For 2012 the bridge was changed to the Accu-cast B305.
