The SR600 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2009. It was crafted in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The SR600 features a double-cutaway light ash body bolted to a jatoba and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a black flat headstock. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK-1 pickups, an Accu-cast B20 solid bridge with 19mm string spacing, a Bartolini MK1 3-band equalizer, and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Controls consist of a volume, balancer, and separate treble, bass and, mid boost/cut controls.
For 2010, the electronics were changed to the EQB-IIIs EQ with a mid-frequency toggle. For 2012 the bridge was changed to the Accu-cast B300. For 2018 the fretboard was changed to jatoba.
The SR605 is a five string version. The SR600L is a left-handed version.
