The SR600 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1988 . It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR600 features a double-cutaway campwood body with flat top bolted to a laminated maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a OMNI adjust fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Ibanez P/J-4 pickup's. Controls consist of an individual volumes for each pickup and a master tone, a plastic nut and gotoh tuning machines.
The SR600D is a related model. The SR600L is a related left-handed model.
The SR600 was discontinued after 1998.
