The SR5CMLTD is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez as a limited model for 2021. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The SR5CMLTD features a double-cutaway body with an ash center block and curly maple and walnut strip wings bolted to a titanium reinforced panga panga and purpleheart Atlas-5 neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with binding and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive soapbar pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, Mono-rail bridges with 16.5mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The SR4CMLTD is a four string version. The SR2605 is a similar regular production model with a walnut burl top on an African mahogany body and gold hardware.
