The SR595 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR595 features a double-cutaway light american maple body bolted to a SR5 maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a standard 5-string fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a pair of Ibanez DXH pickups channeled through an Ibanez EQB-III 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, and black die-cast tuning machines.
The SR590 and SR596 are four string and six string versions.
