The SR590 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR590 features a double-cutaway light american maple body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a Die-cast 4 string fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Ibanez ADX P/J with Active 2-band EQ, a plastic nut, gold hardware and Die-cast tuning machines.
The SR595 and SR596 are related five and six strings models.
