The SR506M is a six string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The SR506M features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini® MK-1 passive pickups with an EQB-IIIS 3-Band EQ with Mid Frequency Switch, an Accu-cast B106 bridge with 16.5 mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Custom tuning machines.
The SR500M and SR505M are similar four and five string models. The SR506 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard.
