The SR505EZW is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was made in Indonesia as part of the standard line. It is a spot model which was sold exclusively by US retailers Guitar Center and Musician's Friend.
The SR505EZW features a zebra wood top on a double-cutaway okoume body bolted to a jatoba and walnut neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a bypassable three-band EQ, an Accu-cast bridge with 16.5 mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
The SR505E is a similar model without the zebra wood top. The SR500EZW is a similar five string model. The SR505EPB is a similar model with a poplar burl top.
