SR500T Charcoal Brown Flat (more images)

The SR500T is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2013. It was produced in Indonesia and offered exclusively by US retail chains Guitar Center and Musician's Friend.

The SR500T features neck-through-body construction with double cutaway mahogany body attached to a jatoba-bubinga neck, rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, with abalone oval inlays and a matching headstock , Components are a pair of Bartolini® MK-1 pickups on the front and the bridge, controls are volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid boost/cut, 2 way mid frequency selector (250hz, 600hz), EQB-IIIS 3-band EQ w/Mid frequency switch, Accu-cast B300 fixed bridge, and cosmo black hardware.

The SR505T is a five string version. The SR500 is a similar model with a bolt-on neck.

The SR500T was discontinued after 2015.
