The SR500M is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2011. It was made in Indonesia as part of the Standard line.
The SR500M features a double cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK-1 passive pickups, an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge, and cosmo black hardware. Controls consist of volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid boost/cut, 2 way mid frequency selector (250hz, 600hz) and an EQB-IIIS 3-band EQ w/Mid frequency switch.
The SR505M and SR506M are similar four and six string models. The SR500 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard.
