The SR500L is a left-handed Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2012. It was produced in Indonesia.

The SR500L features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Bartolini MK-1 passive pickups, an Accu-cast B300 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a Bartolini MK1 3-band EQ. Controls consist of a master volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut and mid boost/cut.

The preamp was changed in 2016.

The SR500 is a right-handed version.

The SR500L was discontinued after 2017.
