The SR500L is a left-handed Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.

The SR500L features a double-cutaway light American maple body bolted to a laminated maple SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Active Dynamix active pickups, a die-cast bridge, a graphite nut, and Ibanez tuning machines. Controls consist of a master volume, balance, treble boost/cut, and bass boost/cut.

The SR500 is a right-handed version.

This SR500L was discontinued after 1994.
