The SR500FM is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR500FM features a double-cutaway resoncast body with flamed maple topbolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include an Die-Cast IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of IBZ P/J-1 pickups, a plastic nut, black hardware and Die-cast tuning machines.
