The SR485 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2000. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR485 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a SR5 maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white side dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include a die-cast 5-string bridge, a pair of Ibanez Dynamix Passive pickups channeled through an active EQB-III preamp with 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, black hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
