The SR1016 is a six-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR406 features a double-cutaway light american maple body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include a pair of IBZ ADX6-N/B (active) pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, a Die-cast 6 strings fixed bridge with 10.8mm string spacing, an active Vari-mid 3-band EQ, Die-cast machine heads and cosmo black hardware.
The SR400 is a related four string model. The SR405 is a related five-string model.
