The SR405FM is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced in Indonesia by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR405FM features a double-cutaway basswood body with flamed maple top bolted to a SR5 maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include a Accu-cast B25 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a pair of IBZ EXF-5 pickup's channeled through an IBZ Style sweeper 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and die-cast tuning machines.
