SR405EPBDX Tropical Seafloor Burst (more images)

The SR405EPBDX is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It is made in Indonesia as part of the standard line.

The SR405EPBDX features a poplar burl top on a double-cutaway nyatoh body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez PowerSpan passive pickups channeled through an Ibanez custom preamp with a Power Tap switch and a three-band EQ, an Accu-cast bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, Ibanez tuning machines, and gold hardware.

The SR400EPBDX is a four string version.

The SR400EPBDX was discontinued after 2024 in all markets except USA & Canada.
