The SR400BCW is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the standard line.

The SR400BCW features a claro walnut top on a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez CAP EXF-N2 pickups running through an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp with three-band EQ, an Accu-cast bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.

The SR405BCW and SR406BCW are similar five and six string models. The SR400QM is a similar model with a quilted maple top and cosmo black hardware.

The SR400BCW was replaced for 2016 with the very similar SR400EBCW which has different pickups.
