The SR375E is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2016. It was made in Indonesia as part of the standard line. It replaced the SR375.
The SR375E features a double-cutaway maple body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez PowerSpan passive pickups channeled through an Ibanez custom preamp with a Power Tap switch and a three-band EQ, an Accu-cast bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2018 the maple and rosewood neck was replaced with maple and walnut and the rosewood fingerboard was replaced with jatoba. For 2021 a new Sapphire Blue finish was introduced.
The SR370E is a four string version. The SR375EL is a left-handed version. The SR375EF is a fretless version.
