The SR300 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was produced in Indonesia.
The SR300 features a double-cutaway agathis body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of EXF-4 passive pickups, an EQB-IIIB Style Sweeper EQ and an Accu-cast B100 fixed bridge.
For 2012 the bridge was changed to an Accu-cast B120 and the EQ was swapped to the EQB-IIID. For 2015 the body was changed to mahogany.
The SR300M is a similar model with a maple fretboard. The SR305 is a five-string version. The SR300F is a fretless version. The SR300L is a left-handed version.
The SR300 was discontinued after 2015 and replaced with the SR300E.
