The SR3000E is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
It replaced the similar SR3000.
The SR3000E features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a SR wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone ovals position markers and a matching headstock. Components include Mono Rail bridges with D-tuner and 19mm string spacing, and a pair of IBZ SFR-S humbucker pickup's channeled through a Vari-mid 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Gotoh 510 tuning machines.
For 2002 the pickups was change to Bartolini® Custom passive, and the EQ was replaced for a Vari-mid 3lc 3-band EQ or a Vari-mid Hi Fi EQ for the US market.
The SR3005E and SR3006E are similar five and six string models.
