The SR3000 is a limited edition Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR3000 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a SR wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone ovals position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a Mono Rail bridge with D-tuner and 19mm string spacing, and a pair of IBZ SFR-S humbucker pickups channeled through a VM3LC 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Gotoh 510 tuning machines.
The SR3005 and SR3006 are similar five and six string models.
The SR3000 was discontinued after 2001 and replaced by the SR3000E.
