SR255FM Charcoal Brown Burst

The SR255FM is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2012. It was produced in Indonesia by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.

The SR255FM features a double-cutaway mahogany body with flamed maple top bolted to a SR5 maple neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez CAP EXF-N2 passive pickups with an Ibanez EQB-IIID preamp with a 3-band EQ, an Accu-cast B15 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut, black hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machine

The SR250FM and SR256FM are related four and six string versions.

The SR255FM was only offered in 2012.
