The SR2405W is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The SR2405W features a figured maple and panga panga top on a double-cutaway African mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced panga panga and purpleheart Atlas neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with binding and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Aguilar Super Double passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, a Mono-rail bridge with 18mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The "W" suffix in the model name indicates the wider string spacing on this model. Most Ibanez five string bass models have a 16.5mm string spacing, while the SR2405W has an 18mm spacing.
