The SR20th5 is a limited edition five-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2007 to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the series. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. Only 350 units was produced.
The SR20th5 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dots position markers at 12 fret and "Since 1987" inlay at 24 fret. Components include a pair of Bartolini Custom SR5 passive pickups with a Vari-Mid III HQ 3-band EQ , Mono-rail bridges with 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, gold hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. Includes Deluxe SR20th Hard Shell and SR20th Leather Strap.
