The SR20th4 is a limited edition Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2007 to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the series. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. Only 350 units was produced.
The SR20th4 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a SR wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dots position markers at 12 fret, "Since 1987" inlay at 24 fret, and a matching headstock. Components include Mono Rail bridges with D-tuner and 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Bartolini Custom humbucker pickup's channeled through a Vari-Mid III HQ 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, gold hardware and Gotoh 510 tuning machines. It comes with a special 20th Anniversary bass suitcase and a 20th Anniversary leather strap.
