SR2005E Transparent Black Flat (more images)

The SR2005E is a limited edition five-string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The SR2005E features a double-cutaway african mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position markers and a black headstock. Components include a pair of Bartolini Custom SR5 passive pickups with a Vari-Mid III HQ 3-band EQ , a Mono-rail IV fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, cosmo black hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. Includes a Hard Shell.

The SR2000E is a similar four string model.

The SR2005E was only offered in 2008.
