The SR2000E is a limited edition Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2008. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR2000E features a double-cutaway african mahogany body bolted to a SR maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone ovals position markers and a black headstock. Components include Mono-rail IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Bartolini Custom humbucker pickup's channeled through a Vari-Mid III HQ 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Gotoh 510 tuning machines. Includes a Hard Shell.
The SR2005E is a similar five string model.
The SR2000E was only offered 2008.
