The SR1806E is a six string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The SR1806E features a rosewood and flamed maple top and mahogany back on a double-cutaway walnut body bolted to a titanium reinforced wenge and bubinga Atlas neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, individual Mono-rail IV bridges with 16.5mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2016 the Mono-rail IV bridges were replaced with the Mono-rail V.
The SR1800/ SR1800E and SR1805/ SR1805E are similar four and five string models.
The SR1806E was discontinued after 2017.
