The SR1800 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line. In the US market it was referred to as the SR1800E.
The SR1800 features a rosewood and flamed maple top and mahogany back on a double-cutaway walnut body bolted to a titanium reinforced wenge and bubinga Atlas neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, individual Mono-rail IV bridges with 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2016 the Mono-rail IV bridges were replaced with the Mono-rail V.
The SR1805 and SR1806E are similar five and six string models. The SR1900E is a similar model with rosewood top & back on an ash body. The SR1600 is a similar model with a poplar burl top.
