1991 SR1500S

The SR1500S is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.

The SR1500S features a double-cutaway padauk body bolted to a bubinga and wenge neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include an Accu-cast B-IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of EMG HG-P/J passive pickup's with a EQ BⅡ equalizer, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and gotoh tuning machines.

THE SR1500PD is a very similar model. The SR1500BG is a related model with bubinga body.

The SR1500S was discontinued after 1992.
