The SR1500 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1992. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR1500 (BG) features a double-cutaway bubinga body bolted to a bubinga and wenge neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include an Accu-cast B-IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of EMG P/J passive pickup's channeled through a EQ BⅡ 2-band, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and gotoh tuning machines.
