The SR1400T is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2014. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line. In the US market it was referred to as the SR1400TE.
The SR1400T features neck through body construction with a figured maple top on a mahogany wings attached to a titanium reinforced wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and oval abalone position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, a Mono-rail IV bridge with 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2016 the bridges were changed to the Mono-rail V.
The SR1405T and SR1406TE are similar five and six string models. The SR1400 is a related model with a bolt-on neck.
The SR1400T was discontinued after 2016.
