SR1300SB

SR1300SB Magic Wave Low Gloss

The SR1300SB is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.

The SR1300SB features a sandblasted ash top with a panga panga strip down the center on a double-cutaway African mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced panga panga and purpleheart Atlas neck with a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard with binding and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Break passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, individually mounted Mono-rail VS bridges with adjustable 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.

The SR1305SB is a similar five string model. The SR1340B is a similar model without the sandblasting of the top and with different pickups.

The SR1300SB was discontinued after 2024 in all markets except USA & Canada.
