- For the earlier model with the same name, see SR1300 (1993–1996).
The SR1300 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line. It is also referred to as the SR1300E in some materials for the US market.
The SR1300 features an ash and walnut top on a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced wenge and bubinga Atlas neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone oval position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Single passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, a Mono-rail bridge with 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
For 2018 the rosewood fretboard was replaced with panga panga and the wenge and bubinga neck was replaced with pangapanga and purpleheart. For 2019 the body material was specified as African mahogany.
The SR1305 and SR1306 are similar five and six string models. The SR1300B is a nearly identical model with black matte hardware. The SR1400 is a similar model with a figured maple top. The SR1820 is a similar model with a walnut and flamed maple top.
The SR1300 was discontinued after 2019.
