The SR1206 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was made in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR1206 features neck through body construction with a figured maple top on a maple attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and oval abalone position markers. Components include a pair of IBZ ADX6 low impedance pickups with a Vari-Mid three-band EQ, Die-cast 6 string bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a black plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The SR1200 and SR1205 are similar four and five string models.
