The SR1205 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR1205 features neck-through-body construction on maple with figured maple top attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include a Die-cast 5 string fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, and a pair of IBZ ADXJ5 active dynamix pickup's channeled through a Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ, a plastic nut and Die-cast tuning machines.
The SR1205FL is a fret-less version. The SR1200 and SR1206 are related four-string and six string models.
