The SR1200 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was produced in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the Standard line.
The SR1200 features neck-through-body construction on mapel and figured maple top attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include an Die-cast 4 string fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of ADX P/J (active dynamix) pickup's channeled through a Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ, a plastic nut and die-casth tuning machines.
The SR1205 and SR1206 are related five-string and six-string models.
