The SR1100E is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1988. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR1100E features a double-cutaway sen body with arched top bolted to a laminated maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers and a ebony headstock. Components include a OMNI adjust fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of DiMarzio IBZ/USA C2 P/J pickup's, a plastic nut, gold hardware and gotoh tuning machines.
The SR1000E is a related model with alder body and other material bodies. The SR2040E is a related fret-less model. The SR2000E (1989) is a related model with hard maple body.
