The SR1015 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 1996 but they weren't shown until the 1997 Ibanez catalog. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
The SR1015 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga SR5 neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone ovals position markers with a "Custom Made" inlay at 24 fret and a black headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez ADX5 active pickups with a Vari-Mid 3-Band, an Accu-cast B20 fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing. Controls are: Volume, balance, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut. Gotoh tuning machines and cosmo black hardware.
The SR1010 is a four string version of this model. The SR1016 is a related six string model.
