The SR1005EFM is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was made in South Korea by Cor-Tek as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR1005EFM features neck-through-body construction on maple wings body with flamed maple top attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with off-set dots position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Bartolini® Custom (passive) pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, a MR-4 fixed bridge with 10.8mm string spacing, a Vari-Mid III HQ 3-band EQ, a Graphtech Black TUSQ XL nut, Gotoh machine heads and cosmo black hardware.
The SR1000EFM and SR1006EFM are similar four and six string models. The SR1005EWN is a related model with walnut and mahogany wings body.
