1995 SR1005-SOL

The SR1005 is a five string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1995. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.

The SR1005 features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a SR5 wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with abalone oval position markers a "Custom Made"" inlay at 24 fret and a black headstock. Components include a Die-cast 5-strings fixed bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a pair of IBZ ADX5 pickup's channeled through a Vari-Mid 3band EQ, a plastic nut, gold hardware and die-cast tuning machines.

The SR1000 and SR1006 are similar four and six string models.

The SR1005 was discotinued after 1997.
