The SR1000 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass introduced by Ibanez for 1995. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The SR1000 features a mahogany body bolted to a bubinga and wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl and abalone oval position markers and a black headstock. It has a "Custom Made" inlay at the 24th fret. Components include IBZ AFR pickups with a P-bass unit at the neck and Jazz pickup at bridge, an AccuCast-B IV bridge, a Vari-Mid 3-band equalizer, gold hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. Controls consist of a balancer, a volume, stacked treble boost/cut and bass boost/cut, and stacked mid range boost/cut and mid range frequency selector.
