The SR1000 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1990. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

  • 1990 (US market): Ash body bolted to a 5-piece maple/ walnut painted neck with an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and pearl dots inlays, matching headstock. Components include EMG P/J pickups, an EQ BII equalizer and omni-adjust bridge. Controls are 4 rubber knobs with volume, balance, treble boost/cut and bass boost/cut, Gotoh machine heads and cosmo black hardware.
  • 1991 (US market): Ash body bolted to a 5-piece maple painted neck with an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and pearl dots inlays, matching headstock. Components include EMG P/J pickups, an EQ BII equalizer and Accu-cast-B IV bridge. Controls are 4 rubber knobs with volume, balance, treble boost/cut and bass boost/cut, Gotoh machine heads and cosmo black hardware.
  • 1991-1992 (Japan): Ash body bolted to a 3-piece maple painted neck with an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and pearl dots inlays, matching headstock, black Headstock for the (NT) finish. Components include IBZ/USA C2 P/J pickups. Controls are 1 balancer, 1 volume and Power Curve Equalizer System (Frequency), AccuCast-B IV bridge, Gotoh machine heads and cosmo black hardware.
