The SR1000S is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The SR1000S features a double-cutaway ash body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock (black for the "Light Amber" finish). Components include a pair of EMG's precision and jazz pickups pickups with an Ibanez EQB-II preamp with 2-band EQ, an Accu-cast B-IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Gotoh tuning machines.


The SR1000S was discontinued after 1992.
