The SR1000EZW is a limited edition Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was produced in South Korea as part of the upscale Prestige line. It is a spot model which doesn't appear in any catalog.
The SR1000EZW features neck-through-body construction with a zebrawood top on mahogany body wings attached to a maple and bubinga neck, with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with wood diamond position markers, a special Scroll inlay at 12th fret, and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of USA Bartolini custom pickups, a Mono-Rail IV bridge, gold hardware and Gotoh machine heads. Controls consist of a balancer, a single volume, treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, mid-range boost/cut, mid-range frequency control and a Vari-Mid III Hi-Fi 3-Band system equalizer.
The SR1000EBG is a similar model with a bubinga top.
The SR1000EZW was discontinued after one year of production.
